July 6, 2004: Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences at Dilshad Gardens in Delhi held a lecture session today to acquaint students and faculty of the life and achievements of Dr Yellapragada SubbaRow.
Mr S P K Gupta made a PowerPoint presentation as an introductory talk and mounted a photo exhibition.
Dr Suman Kapur, Additional Professor, and Dr Rachna Agarwal, Assistant Professor, Department of Neurochemistry of the Institute, made a poster presentation on role of phosphorus and folic acid in neuropsychiatric disorders.
The session was organised by Dr Meena Gupta, Director of IHBAS, at the suggestion of Dr M Gourie-Devi, Emeritus Professor (Neurology).
Evelyn Publishers brought out a 40-page booklet on Dr SubbaRow to mark the exhibition.
The booklet, Eminent Medical Mind, features a review article on the Phosphorus Method, The Man and the Method, by Dr Suman Kapur and has a collection of introductory articles-Three Anonymous NRIs by Chidanand Rajghatta, A Million Good Turns Arou8nd the World by S P K Gupta, He Transformed Science, Changed Lives by Dr Pushpa Mitra Bhargava, and The Continuing Miracles of the Miracle Man's Miracle Drugs by Dr Rajesh Bhatnagar.
